Of Pensions and Perfume | Legacy Message #4

In a world where the human default setting seems to be “How can you serve me?”—it is both unusual and refreshing to find a King and a kingdom where that is not allowed or desired. In Christ’s kingdom, which is very much upside-down from the world’s way, Jesus says bluntly: “My followers will be different!” He said that the highest calling in His kingdom was to serve, and that the ranking official would be the lowest of all. In our story today, we will see some competitor’s intent on getting the pension, and another only concerned about sharing the perfume. There are lots of smells in this story! Which smell is ours
