Washington Avenue Christian Church is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday services!

When We Meet

At WACC we place a high value on Biblical literacy, and we believe that one of the best ways to move towards literacy and understanding that the Bible is one cohesive story pointing to Jesus is through consistent study of the Bible in community. As a result, we place a high value on our Sunday School program and encourage everyone at WACC to be involved in a class.

What to Expect

A typical service will last about 70 minutes. We are proud of our blended nature, so on any given Sunday you will hear a mixture of contemporary and traditional worship. Sometimes that means a full band, other times just a piano and organ. Wear what makes you comfortable! There is KidsChurch available and activities for all age groups. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people. Make sure to stop by the Guest Connection Desk to meet our team and get a gift!
