Thoughts of Home (Jim Shelburne)

The idea of “home“ runs deep within each of us. We all understand having times and places where we feel very much “at home“ and other places where we do not feel that at all.

One of the tensions in the Christian life is the imperative realization that even though we are appointed to live here, in some cases for eight or nine decades or more, this earth is not and cannot ever be our true “home.”

In today’s message we will consider the nature of our true home – heaven – and we will talk about the way to get focused on that ultimate destination.
