Summer On The Mount: Mt. 6:19-24 | A Sermon on Stuff

We all do it. Spend our lives chasing after “stuff.” We work and we hustle and we grind to get stuff so that, at the end of our lives, we might be able to enjoy it for a few years. It’s so much a part of the human condition that Jesus doesn’t even tell us not to. Instead, Jesus refocuses our attention of the “stuff” that really matters. The problem is that the stuff that we think matters and the stuff that Jesus says matters in the Kingdom are strikingly different. One leads to life, and the other to destruction. Join us this morning as we seek to understand how Kingdom People deal with their “Stuff.”
