One Hit Wonders | Obadiah (Pride and Prejudiced)

What is one thing that blinds us from our faults, is almost always a prequel to a fall, and makes us think more of ourselves? Pride. Edom’s downfall was their own prejudiced and passive violence to their brother nation backed up by an arrogance that could not protect them. And God had enough. Obadiah had the unlikeable privilege of being the bearer of bad news to this erring nation. Pride gets in the way of most relationships and is the downfall of many. God opposes the proud BUT he gives grace to the humble. May you win the daily battles against pride.
