Life of Christ (Matthew 3: 13-17) | The Baptism of Jesus 01/11/2026

In our first glimpse of Jesus as an adult, we see him doing something that is, quite frankly, strange. John baptizes for “repentance” (Mt. 3.11), so, why is Jesus being baptized? Today’s message will engage this question, and help us understand more about baptism, why Jesus was, and why we should follow suit. There is a truth buried in the text that we all need to be reminded of as well, about how to please our Father. Join us this morning as we really begin to get into the meat of our Life of Christ series!
