Life of Christ (Matthew 2:1-23) | Contrasting Kings 12/21/2025

We all know that birth, and parenting are anything but peaceful, and yet, when it comes to the Christmas story, we forget. We have already seen that Jesus’ birth was anything but peaceful, and that trend continues this week in his toddler years. This time, however, the chaos is more satanic than divine, as a jealous king sets out to destroy the new king. Join us as we contrast the two kings and remind ourselves once again that there is a surprising amount of chaos present in the birth of the Prince of Peace, but that we don’t have to succumb to it.
