Life of Christ (Luke 5:17-26) | Faith Through the Roof 03/08/2026

When we were kids, role-playing our favorite books, movies or shows, there were always characters that everyone wanted to be, and characters no one wanted to be. The same is true for us today. When we read our Bibles, we often find ourselves gravitating towards specific characters because of their faith or actions. That's especially true of our text today, but the surprise might come in realizing that while we might aspire to be the kind of friends that would do whatever it took to get someone to Jesus, often times, we are playing the role in a different character in the story. Join us this morning as we explore one of the more famous stories from Jesus' early ministry from Luke 5.17-26.
