Life of Christ (Matthew 4) | Temptation Wilderness 01/18/2026

It’s common and not unique. Temptation. We all face it. Not all of us face the same ones specifically, but in general we all find ourselves faced with the same choices that our ancestors and our neighbors wrestle(d) with. Some of us seem to have little resistance and others, over the course of time have battled it a little more successfully. Even Jesus battled temptation. He is the only one who has a 100% winning record, but the devil tried nonetheless. What can we learn from Jesus when it comes to battling this evil foe and how can we lean into Him in the process a little more?
