Life of Christ | Good, Compassionate and Merciful Samaritan | 05/03/2026

What prompts you to help someone in need? In this message the ones who did not help seemed to be the ones you thought would most likely do so, but it was the one least likely to the hearers to stop and help. We often hear the term “Good Samaritan” when someone comes alongside of someone in need and lends aid. Is that you? How is your compassion meter? Too often we allow busy lives to keep us from extending mercy, whereas our love should stir compassion within us and to be merciful lending aid to those in need. The question is really not “who is my neighbor?” But "am I a good neighbor”?
