All Off | All in All (Colossians 3.5-11)

In light of our understanding of who Christ is, and what he has done for us, it is not enough merely to “not play with dead things.” We must also actively choose to put to death things that are not of Christ. As we look at Colossians 3.5-11, we will discover that there are things within all of us that we must put to death. As we do, we will shed the costume of the “old man” and continuously put on the “new man,” that is, Christ. This work can only be accomplished in his power and with his help, and the more and better we allow him to work in us, the more he will be in us, and the less we will be divided amongst ourselves.
