Born and raised in Mississippi, Leann graduated from Dallas Christian College with a degree in Bible and Music Ministry. She moved to Amarillo to begin full-time Kingdom ministry where she met her handsome husband, of 20-plus years. Leann currently co-leads the Worship ministry as well as Encompass women’s ministry. Mentoring the next generation of Kingdom workers has been an ongoing calling. She is passionate about Jesus and helping others experience the Presence of God through corporate and private worship. When it comes to working in ministry for the past 30 years, you will often hear Leann say, “I get to.” She remains in awe that the Lord would call her to care for and equip the Bride of Christ.
Outside of her involvement at WACC, Leann is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She loves camping with her husband and amazing daughter. Extroverted to the core, you’ll often find Leann celebrating the relationships God has placed in her life. To sum her up: Leann loves Jesus, music, creation, and collard greens. And she believes all those things are best when they’re shared with loved ones.
