Iglesia Cristiana Washington
Iglesia Cristiana Washington (ICW) is a sister church and community outreach mission work of WACC, which meets in the WACC fellowship hall. The ministry of ICW began as a Saturday evening Bible Study for Hispanics in January 1999 and has expanded and adapted over time to accommodate the needs of those who want to come and participate. In 2007 ICW called Joel Zamudio, a native of Mexico and graduate of Colegio Biblico in Peidras Negras. He and his family pastor this loving, growing flock.
First and foremost, this church is a Spanish-language pulpit ministry. As the racial demographics in the neighborhoods and region that we serve have changed to include many Spanish-speaking people, we felt compelled to explore and develop opportunities to minister to this expanding cultural cross-section of our populace. Many of the children of ICW are bi-lingual, often attending WACC children’s and student’s activities, where they are most welcome.
