Worship Ministries

To worship God is to respond to who He is and what He does with our thoughts, words, and actions. We offer many opportunities to serve in worship at WACC…only a few are listed here. Contact Michael McBride if you’d like more information on, well, anything!


Adult Choir
The adult choir leads in worship and ministers through music at the traditional service. They rehearse each Wednesday from mid-August through June, preparing music for worship services and special performances at Christmas, Easter, and during the summer. The adult choir is open to anyone who loves to sing.


Worship Band
The worship band leads worship for the contemporary service each Sunday. If you have a gift to lead worship through music vocally or instrumentally that can be used to praise our Lord, we would love to explore how your gifts can be used at WACC.


Tech Crew
Whether it’s through lighting, sound, video or stagehand work, our technical crew offers many volunteer opportunities for both the trained and non-trained person. We are always looking for people who have knowledge of modern sound systems, stage lighting, computer assisted presentation programs, and video production. (We can also train you to do these things.) If some of these sound like too much for you, maybe you could help us set up equipment between services…no experience is necessary, all that is required is a strong back!
